Affected area(s) indicate the bidding area(s) affected by the information to be published. This field is prefilled with information related to a station or connection(s). Additional bidding areas can be chosen if relevant.

Affected lines

The affected line(s) indicate infrastructure in the grid relevant for the information to be published. The affected line(s) can be the name of the transmission line(s) or the transformer station(s) causing the event. The field is a free-text field and several lines can be added by typing in the name. The text entered in this field is stored for future use.

Affected station/units

The affected station/unit(s) indicate the station or unit(s) affecting the information to be published. Information can be reported on station or unit(s) level.

Attachments

Attachments can be added to to provide background information related to the information to be published. Any information subject to the disclosure requirement must be stated in the adequate field(s) elsewhere in the message form. The attachments must be in PDF format and up to 5 documents can be attached.

Available capacity

The available capacity indicates the capacity in MW of a connection, station or unit(s) that is available during the time of the event to be published.

Message cancellation

An urgent market message can only be cancelled if it concerns information that has not already come into effect or the information reported is duplicate or erroneous. If an event has already started the urgent market message shall not be cancelled, but an update can be published stating the date and time of the event stop. A reason for the cancellation must be provided. The “Decision time” indicates when the information leading to the cancellation took place.

Decision time

The decision time is the date and time when the information to be published occurred.

Duration uncertainty

The duration uncertainty is the uncertainty related to the duration of the information to be published. For information affecting 400 MW or more the duration uncertainty is mandatory.

Event start

The event start is the date and time when the information to be published enters or has entered into effect.

Event stop

The event stop is the date and time when the information to be published ends. Event stop can only be left open if there is no precise information on the expected end date and/or time, or if it is not relevant for the information to be published to provide an end date.

Message category

The message category indicates what kind of information is to be published. Information to be published for the Transparency Regulation must be published using the message category “Outage or limitation”. Please consult the help section for more information on the different message categories and how publish information for the Transparency Regulation through the UMM system.

Station

The station indicates the production station or consumption facility affected by the information to be published.

Type of event

The type of event indicates the general background for the information to be published and must be chosen from the drop-down menu. Additional information about the reason for the event can be added in the remarks field if relevant.

Remarks

The remarks field can used to provide additional information that is relevant for the information to be published. The prefilled remarks can be added from the drop-down menu and subsequently edited according to the information to be published.

Message type

The message type indicates whether the information to be published is related to production, consumption, transmission or general.

The "Messages from the same station" box shows the most recently published urgent market messages for the same station.

Messages from the same connections

The "Messages from the same connection" box shows the most recently published urgent market messages for the same connection.

Affected unit/station

The affected station/unit(s) indicate the station or unit(s) affecting the information to be published. Information can be reported on station or unit(s) level.

Updated capacity

The updated installed capacity indicates the new capacity in MW of a station or unit(s) effective from the date provided in the event start field.

Available capacity

The available capacity indicates the capacity in MW of a station or unit(s) that is available during the time of the event to be published.

From

The date and time when the information to be published enters or has entered into effect.

To

The date and time when the information to be published ended or is estimated to end.

Affected connection

The affected connection indicates the connection affecting the information to be published.

Updated capacity

The updated installed capacity indicates the new capacity in MW of a connection(s) effective from the date provided in the event start field.

Available capacity

The available capacity indicates the capacity in MW of a connection that is available during the time of the event to be published.

From

The date and time when the information to be published enters or has entered into effect.

To

To change the settings of a station a new validity period must apply indicating the date and time when the changes to the station will take place.

The description field can be used to provide relevant information about the company not provided elsewhere under the details about the company.

Telephone

The telephone number shall include the country code. The telephone number can be used by Nord Pool Spot to get in touch with the company regarding published information. The telephone number is not visible to other companies.

Status

The status field indicates whether the company has an active status. If the company does not have an active status the users of the company can not log in.

Main contact

The main contact of a company can be selected from a list of users from the company. The main contact is the contact person at the company for matters regarding the disclosure requirements. The main contact is only visible to the company and to Nord Pool Spot.

First name

This field states the first name of the user or other generic name identifying the user. The name is only visible to the company and to Nord Pool Spot.

Surname

This field states the surname of the user or other generic name identifying the user. The name is only visible to the company and to Nord Pool Spot.

Title

The title of the user can be entered in this field. The title is only visible to the company and to Nord Pool Spot.

Role

The role refers to the user rights. This field can only be edited by Nord Pool Spot.

Company

The company is the name of the legal entity.

Status

The status field indicates whether the user has an active status. If the user does not have an active status the users cannot login.

E-mail

The e-mail address is the user login name.

Telephone

The telephone number shall include the country code. The telephone number can be used by Nord Pool Spot to get in touch with the user regarding published information. The telephone number is only visible to the company and to Nord Pool Spot.

Password

A strong password is an important protection to the user login.

Validity period start

The validity period start indicates the date and time when the details entered about the connection is valid from.

Status

Information can only be published for connections that have status set to active.

Area

The bidding areas on each side of the connection.

Publishing rights

Nord Pool Spot grants publishing rights for the connection to companies.

Installed capacity

Installed capacity is the maximum net transfer capacity in MW of the connection.

Minimum capacity

This field gives a lower range for capacity available to the market under normal circumstances.

Production/Consumption graph

The graph shows the unavailable capacity in MW according to the filter selection. The unavailable capacity displayed in the graph is based on urgent market messages reported for the message category Outage or limitation.

Urgent market messages reported without end date and time is displayed in grey colour.

Hovering over the coloured area in the graph gives an overview of the urgent market messages causing the unavailable capacity. The pop-up window provides a link to the details of the corresponding urgent market message(s).

Transmission graph

The graph shows the available transmission capacity in MW per connection, according to the filter selection. The available transmission capacity displayed in the graph is based on urgent market messages reported for the message category Outage or limitation.

Clicking on the coloured lines in the graph or on the legend name gives an overview of the urgent market messages affecting the available transmission capacity. The pop-up window provides link(s) to the details of the corresponding urgent market message(s).

Production/Consumption/Transmission Gantt

The Gantt chart illustrates the start and end dates of events reported in urgent market messages matching the filter selection for the message category Outage or limitation. The information in the Gantt chart is displayed per bidding area and infrastructure.

Urgent market messages reported without end date and time is displayed in a grey colour. A darker coloured area indicates that an event without end date and time overlaps an event with end date and time.

Clicking on the coloured bars in the Gantt chart gives an overview of the corresponding urgent market messages. The pop-up window provides a link to the details of the urgent market message(s).

Area

The area is the bidding area where the station is located, or the connection starts or ends.

Production type

The production types are defined by the ENTSO E for Electricity in the Manual of Procedures as specified in the Transparency Regulation. For further information please consult www.entsoe.eu

  CSV file

Clicking on the CSV file icon downloads a CSV file containing information from the urgent market messages matching the filter selection.

  RSS feed

Click on the RSS symbol and copy the link in the web browser into an RSS reader. All the filters chosen apply to the RSS feed. Please contact your IT department for help with setting up an RSS reader. In order to include all UMMs in your RSS feed, select “Date of publication” and choose “All” from the drop-down menu, and click on “Filter messages” prior to clicking on the RSS symbol. Make sure that the settings of your RSS reader for updates of new UMMs are set to the minimum update frequency.
